Worship
We believe worship is about giving of our whole self to God. Knowing no two people are alike, we design the service with the idea that God is present throughout and we ebb and flow in our responses to God. Knowing people worship in different ways, we seek to help each person to feel the presence of God in a meaningful way.
Each sermon is biblically based, personal and relevant to life.
We use a blend of music featuring hymns as well as a contemporary songs led by our worship leader.
Co-Founders
We are Brian and Julia Long and have been married for 20 years. We have two children, Kristina, who is in college, and, Timothy, who is in middle school. We met at Fuller Seminary and have loved watching God at work in our lives ever since. Brian got his start in ministry leading youth and college aged groups before becoming a Senior Pastor. His desire in ministry is to see people fall in love with Jesus and God’s word in order to make a lasting impact in their lives. Julia loves everything Bible study and theology, women’s ministry and to encourage people to live by faith. Her passion is to help people listen for and live by the Holy Spirit and to renew their minds according to the Scripture so as to live out their fullness of life in Jesus. In their free time, they love to travel, to go for walks, and spend time as a family.
Worship Leader
Hello, my name is Zac Marton and I love to lead worship. I first learned the guitar and how to lead worship at 12 years old. From then on, anytime I was at a youth group meeting, sleepaway camp, or Sunday service I would always try to be in the worship band. Singing and praising God has always been the way that I best connect with the Holy Spirit that lives within me because I have been born again. I met my wife Bri in 2020 and our son Milo was born in 2023. We live in Yorba Linda and look forward to building God’s church in this city.
